ASCI is now welcoming ads to be posted into a new Classified Ad section of the monthly ASCI ebulletin. These are tough times for us all and we hope that this might help our members while helping ASCI too. So, if you have a place for rent; equipment, materials, or services for sale or hire; we hope you will consider placing an ad. [No "Personals" ads] Below are the details:
DEMOGRAPHICS: ASCI has a select membership of 400+/- artists, scientists, technologists, curators, writers, and others interested in the intersection of art & science. About 60% are from the NYC area with 40% distributed throughout the USA and a few international (many are professors at universities).
CLASSIFIED AD FORMAT: Text only + URL link [40 words maximum] Begin with CAPS word describing what is offered: "FOR RENT", "FOR SALE", "FOR HIRE", etc.
SEND AD VIA: info@asci.org put: "ASCI CLASSIFIED AD" in the Subject Line of your email.
DEADLINE: 10th of each month
MEMBERS ONLY OFFER: your ASCI membership must be current!
PRICE: $25 per one-time ad, $60 for three successive months; $180 for year [12 bulletins @$15/each]
PAYMENT: Prefer payment via Paypal.com or if personal check is received by 10th of the month [USdollars only]. [LINK to page with Paypal details]
RIGHT OF REFUSAL: ASCI has the right to refuse to post any ad by returning your money [within 10-days of ebulletin publication] without providing a reason. [only "offensive" ads]
LEGAL RESPONSIBILITY: "ASCI is to be held harmless for any liability regarding any and all promises of or quality of goods or services offered within the Classified Ads printed in the "ASCI ebulletin." The legal responsibility for providing goods or services is solely between the person paying for the ad and respondees to the Classified Ads. Receipt of your payment represents your agreement with this stipulation."
