The creative process is all about the flow of energy - ideas, impulsesand inspiration - unseen and yet deeply felt. I know instinctively when the final image I am working on will be successful - the work is not labored or tedious - it flows freely into place almost as if divinely designed. The computer is the perfect tool for the expression of this energy. It gives me the capacity to work quickly and without restraints. To be motivated by the internal pleasure of the process rather than the external pleasure of the product is all I can ask for as an artist. These images are part of a series exploring the different stages of life and the consequent expansion of consciousness that accompanies our growth.
