My life in art began with drawing at a very young age and progressed to painting, first watercolor and then oil. As I explored other media, clay, paper and fiber, I began to work in the realm of mixed media.
My digital photomontage work began from a desire to place the various media together in one frame. In the beginning a single image, a painting, print, photograph or fiber construction, is digitized and placed in a file. The
buildup and addition of various images continues until the work is complete.
There is for me a quality of narrative in each piece.
