PRESENTER INFORMATION:

-  Sean Elwood, Director of Grantmaking and Artists Services at Creative Capital Foundation.
  Creative Capital, a New York City-based nonprofit organization, acts as a catalyst for the development of adventurous and imaginative ideas by supporting artists who pursue innovation in form and/or content in the performing and visual arts, film and video, and in emerging fields. Sean will talk about Creative Capital's mission, describe the application process, present examples of grantees that use technology and/or science in their artwork; as well as provide some pointers about applying for the grant.

-  Short Members Discussion:  ASCI artist member/meeting host, Donna Marshall, will discuss the need for forming an ASCI Members Meeting Committee and ask for volunteers. Same for an ASCI Exhibition Committee.

FORMAT:  a 30-minute presentation + Q&A followed by social networking time for members. Share what you're doing, find collaborators!

ASCI artist member, Donna Marshall, will be the Evening Host, and Andrea Polli, Director of the MFA Program in Integrated Media Arts at Hunter College, will also be in attendance coordinating the audio-visual technology.
