and PRODUCT INFORMATION

MAJOR SPONSORS:

Ushio America, Inc.
USHIO America, Inc. is a company constantly challenging the global market by providing new and better lighting for tomorrow's society. Since its establishment in 1967, USHIO has developed its product technology to include a wide variety of light sources, units and systems. USHIO is an international manufacturer of high intensity discharge and halogen light sources for general illumination applications.

USHIO America, Inc. is proud to present their upgraded series of the Ultraline+ 10,000 hour MR-16 lamps. In response to the concerns of ultraviolet emissions from MR-16 reflector lamps, USHIO upgraded the quartz burner in their MR-16 lamps in order to reduce UVA, UVB and UVC wavelengths. The integral front glass lens eliminates 90% of the UV emissions thus protecting ultraviolet sensitive objects. In addition, USHIO added a special titanium reflector coating to their Ultraline+ series which provides consistent color throughout the life of the lamp. These Ultraline+ 10,000 hour MR-16 reflector lamps are also rated at over twice the life of any MR-16 lamp on the market today and are now available in 35 watt and 50 watt versions in medium and wide beam spreads. Leprecon
Leprecon/CAE, Inc. has been manufacturing high quality, professional lighting products for over 25 years. Specializing in dimming and control, the Leprecon product line features a wide range of products which can be tailored to fit every lighting budget. Ranging from small community theaters, churches, or school theatres, to full-scale studio or touring applications. Leprecon prides itself in making every product easy to use. Whether you are in a hurry to program lots of cues in a short period of time, or walking up to the console and just trying to get it to store a few scenes, it has to be quick and easy.

We use the same high quality components throughout our entire product line. The same components that are found in our high end VX dimmers (12 ch/2.4kw) are used in our small portable tree mount packs. We also try to include the same features throughout our product line. In a review of the LP-600 series consoles (Lighting Dimension/Jan 1997), they were called "small wonders" because of the many features we fit into a small unit. We like to think they are the small brother or sister to our larger consoles. What makes that really appealing, is that someone can learn about lighting on a smaller console and grow into the larger, more complex consoles as their budget allows.

The Leprecon product line includes: Consoles: LP-600 Series, LM-850, LP-1500 Series, LP-1600 Series, LP-2000 Cue Plus, and our newest series the LP-3000 Series. Dimmers: LD-340/360 Series, LD-2400 Series, VX Series, HD and ISYS Series. Other Products: Architectural Series, DMX to Analog Converters, DMX Opto-Isolation Units. Live Wire Enterprises
Lights that you can tie in knots.
Live Wire is a new type of patented illumination taking electroluminescent phosphors and evenly distributing it on thin flexible cables (2.3 mm in diameter). Live Wire is encased in a protective plastic tube. It is extremely flexible, cold to touch, and, unlike fiber optics, yields an even output of light and color throughout its length. The water resistant product, used in feature films such as Warner Brothers' Batman and Robin and Contact and Disney's Con-Air is very economical to use ( less than .1 milliamps per foot). The energy used by 100 watt light bulb can illuminate 1,000 feet of Live Wire! It has been chosen over fiber optics by the Smithsonian Institute in their up-coming Star Wars exhibit. Depending on the application, Live Wire can be powered by batteries or can simply plug into an outlet and run lengths of Eight Hundred feet with a half life of 15,000 hours. To achieve higher brightness levels it is operated with custom inverters. Available colors include red, green, blue, yellow, pink, white and other vibrant shades.

Pricing: Live Wire- $3.90/ft for 15' and 30' stock lengths (custom lengths available); Control Box $75 to each length; Battery Packs -$25; colors include red, white, blue, gold, green, pink, and yellow.
